During the recapitalisation process Triton commissioned leading independent expert CSA Global to complete a technical review of the Company's graphite projects, geology and petrographic studies. The CSA Global independent technical review has reaffirmed the size and quality of Triton's graphite resources. Approval for the placement of shares to Minjar Gold Pty Ltd (or its nominees), raising approximately $6.3 million, was received at the general meeting of Triton shareholders held on 19 September, 2016. Following settlement of the placement to Minjar Gold Pty Ltd (or its nominees), the DOCA is expected to be effectuated and control of the Company will return to the board of directors. Triton is progressing the documentation required for the entitlement issue to be offered to eligible shareholders' of Triton, raising approximately $7.9 million. The entitlement issue is fully underwritten by Somers and Partners.

On 23 August 2016, the Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) dated 25 July 2016 was varied to remove a typo reference to the Placement Options in clause 4.1(d) of the DOCA. The Placement Options are intended to be granted to Minjar Gold Pty Ltd (ABN 15 119 514 528) as part of the Entitlements Issue (something which is not due to occur until after the DOCA has been effectuated).
